Destinations

Safari options are almost endless and the area we cover is vast, but below is a brief guide to different regions, perhaps one or two will interest you more than others. It is difficult to fit it all into one safari though and hence we have several people who come back to us year after year. But when it becomes daunting remember we are here to talk you through it!

Tanzania

For those interested in a safari to East Africa, Tanzania is probably the most iconic destination since it is home to the famous Wildebeest migration in the Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater, Kilimanjaro and the mysterious and beautiful island of Zanzibar. It is also rewarding to add on a side trip to the Chimpanzees on Lake Tanganyika or the gorillas in Rwanda

Zambia

Here the gem is the fantastic Luangwa Valley in the North East. Chat to us about best times to visit this area. Also Victoria Falls can be visited from both the Zambia and Zimbabwe side. Lower Zambezi, Kafue and Bangweulu area are also worth a visit.

Namibia

The Namibian deserts are among the starkest and inspiring landscapes in the world, leaving you awed by the adaptations of the wildlife that makes them home. Nonetheless, this difficult land is easy to travel due to good infrastructure and outstanding small camps. It is a wonderful travel destination that is too often overlooked simply because people don’t know about it.

Zimbabwe

More iconic locations with the famous Victoria Falls and the nearby Victoria Falls Hotel which is a grand old colonial era masterpiece. There are any number of good wildlife destinations nearby as well. Also ask about our own small luxury tented camp which is semi-mobile and may just be set up at a location not to be missed.

South Africa

South Africa has too many beautiful destinations to list them all. The ease of travel in this country also makes it a big favorite. Cape Town is of course one of the most beautiful cities in the world and the Winelands close by make it a perfect place to spend a week! There are many good wildlife areas to visit – Kruger National Park area, Madikwe, KwaZulu Natal to name a few. Then we all have our personal favorites and mine is the Karoo area.

Botswana

The magnificent wildlife of Botswana and the plethora of good camps and lodges make it a favourite of safari goers. For those who prefer something a little more rustic we also work with a small mobile operator who moves the camp to different locations during the safari. Many people have heard of Botswana’s famous Okavango Delta, Chobe and the Kalahari.
